DAY 1 (23RD DECEMBER 2026): Arrival and Game drive in Tarangire national park. .
If your plane arrives in the morning, on this day of your wildlife safari you will do a game drive in Tarangire national park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season. The Tarangire Ecosystem is defined by the long-distance migration of wildebeest and zebras. During the dry season animals concentrate in Tarangire National Park from the surrounding wet-season dispersal and calving areas. You will have a chance to take a break in a picnic area and have Drinks and packed lunch box from Arusha, then you will resume with the game drive around Tarangire national park. After the game drive, you will drive to your hotel in Karatu. Accommodation: ENDORO LODGE FB.DAY 2 (24TH DECEMBER 2026): Drive to Serengeti with game drive on the way.
After an early start, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breathtaking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by midday. In Maasai Serengeti means “endless plains” and truly you would find the grassland savannah stretching here to the horizon with the dotted grazing animals. Serengeti is a must-season park for anyone planning for Tanzania. Because, it is the park, where the greatest wonder of the world “ The Annual Migration of Wild Beasts “ is conducted in which millions of animals march in quest of fresh pasture and water without caring for their life and even the lives of their calves. After your game viewing you will overnight at your lodge. Accommodation: BANAGI SAFARI LODGE FB.DAY 3 (25TH DECEMBER 2026): Full-day game drive in Serengeti and drive to Karatu.
Another day to enjoy the home of the enormous migratory herds during the dry season. The Serengeti remains an unexplored wilderness packed with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The most captivating highlight of this area is undoubtedly the massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope. After an early Breakfast you will have chance to do crater game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area's main tourists’ attraction. It is the largest and most scenic crater in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a large concentration of wildlife. It is also one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders due to its breathtaking natural features. The Ngorongoro Crater is known as a home to animals, including the big five; elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, lions and leopards. Other animals found in this crater include hippos, hyenas, warthogs, zebras, elands, gazelles, wildebeests. This makes Ngorongoro Crater probably the best site in Tanzania to spot and watch the big five as well as other wild species more easily. After the game drive, you will get a chance to have your lunch and drinks around at a picnic site, then you will proceed your drive to Mto wa Mbu and have an overnight stay. Accommodation: ENDORO LODGE FB.DAY 5 (27TH DECEMBER 2026): Bike Tour in Mto wa Mbu in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha.
You will have a bike tour. A mountain bike tour in Mto wa Mbu is a nice break from safaris. The beautiful village close to Lake Manyara National Park is a green oasis in the surrounding Maasai plains, where rice, coffee and bananas can grow due to the presence of groundwater. The bike tour of 2 to 4 hours allows for some beautiful views of Lake Manyara as it takes you through the streets of the village, past the banana and coffee plantations and to a local village market. After this, you will be picked up with your driver and be driven to Arusha and this will be the end of our services.****End of service**
