Karibu Africa Safaris Ltd is a tour operator with its head office in Arusha, the safari capital of Tanzania. For around 20 years we have organised wildlife safaris, mountain climbs, hiking and biking trips and beach holidays in Tanzania, Kenya and Zanzibar. We are a member of the Tanzania Association of Tour Operators (TATO).
Karibu means “welcome” in Swahili, and that is how we want every traveller to feel. We arrange everything from simple camping safaris to luxury lodges, and have hosted guests ranging from families on their first safari to ministers, ambassadors and television film crews.
Our aim is to create safari experiences that are carried out in the most sustainable way: supporting local suppliers, and encouraging travel that cares for Africa’s wildlife and people.
