Overview
The migration is a year-round loop, so there is no single “migration season”, only the right place for each month. From January to March the herds calve on the short-grass plains around Ndutu; from July they gather at the Mara River for the dramatic crossings.
We position your camps where the herds are expected to be, and our guides keep in touch with each other to find them each morning.
Highlights
- Calving season and its predators
- Mara River crossings
- Mobile camps that follow the herds
